I own a restaurant and think they should be available on-line. If you want to be in this business then you should make 100% certain not to make anyone ill, in any way.
The health department gives us time to fix problem, some are so minor that it can be corrected during inspection (Which is the CDI under compliance, Completed during inspection). When they come back, If you correct the issue, then that report of corrections is now posted.
No one is perfect but the public has a right to choose to view the sight. If restaurant owners that don't want them posted, what are they hiding?
Personally I would like to see it become law to have a sticker for each restaurant grading their performance. Because not everyone has a computer or access to one.
