I voted for His Needs, Her Needs because I found the concepts quite helpful in our own marriage, but not necessarily along the gender lines given. The author as some point, if I remember correctly, mentions that these needs are not necessarily gender specific and that the important thing is to figure out what your spouse's priorities are and work toward meeting those needs. It would be interesting to me to see your perspective on whether this caveat saves the book from being typically hierarchical.
