Mr. Honeycutt, are you saying that someone racing in NASCAR has done something ILLEGAL?? Surely not Petty in an elite team of the day. Surely not Kevin Harvick in an elite team of the day. And they STILL let him race this Sunday in the Daytona 500. What a shame! And even in a Stewart/Hass car.

Oh by the way, at the age of 35ish. Petty could have gave patric and stewart a 4 lap start in a 5 lap race and beat them both by 6 laps. Just Saying!

All jokes aside, it is a fact that nascar gives patric a lot of lead way solely based on her looks and the female fan base she attracts to the sport. Her continuance in nascar has nothing to do with her performance on the track as a competitor. Nascar has gradually become a marketing sport (business) more so than its original beginning where winning and performance was the main drive. It is my opinion that this sport will eventually be a popularity contest and winners will be selected by how many votes each driver wins from the fans. Instead of their position on the track at the end of the race.

Id just like to say I truly believe even at petty's age. He could give patric and stewart a 3 lap head start in a 4 lap race and still beat both of them by 1 lap.
