Katie has my vote, she was the sole person mentioning Ag-Gag legislature . As usual, people seem to confuse loving animals with loving pets .

We need people like Tom Wolf who gives me hope that if elected, he will indeed help our animals. I have gone to township officials about dogs being tethered in the extreme temperatures and been told this is not cruel and there is no reason that dogs can't be out 24/7. This is only one of the many issues we face in this state with regard to the treatment of our animals. I am glad we have someone who will help us fight to protect the animals.

Tom covers all of my concerns and especially the tether law. People confine their dogs to boxes with a tight collar and heavy cold short chain. And then the they leave them out there all alone in all types of weather for hours and days and weeks and months and YEARS! They only see them to feed and water and usually only once a day. THIS INHUMANE TREATMENT OF LOVING LIVING BEINGS MUST STOP!!!! Thank you Tom Wolf for including this in your animal advocacy policy.

The only reason I didn't go for Tom Wolf (who I believe made the strongest statement about animals too) was the fact he doesn't address the ag-gag bill or factory farming. I asked him TWICE on his FB page what his stance was on this and received no reply--so I take it as him backing down to big businesses. I realize he doesn't answer all the comments on his page, but he has people that monitor and answer some of them. I am not the only one that addressed the ag-gag bill on his page and received no answer.

tough vote because they all included something good. Wolf has the best laid out statement but would like to have seen something strong against the Ag-gag bills and factory farming. Schwartz has been a great advocate for animals and has included some great examples of what she has already done and will continue to work toward! This is great but still felt it wasn't as strong as it could be. Mc Ginty's was short but positive and aggressive about accountability--i like that part. McCord's was ok. not strong but positive. how can i vote?!?!?!?

I really liked Tom Wolfe's statements..it appears he has been paying attention to the issues we have in the state of PA. I am encouraged by his statement on the live pigeon shoots and the puppy mills, two of the blackest marks against animals in our state in my opinion. Ag-gag is a BIG concern to me also. I am not a one-issue voter, but this man shows a lot of integrity on any issue. I like him, I like him very much. And I vote - every time.

I am happy that we have animal welfare statements from the candidates. This would never have happened a few years ago! This shows that Humane PA PAC is getting attention. Tom Wolf definitely has the most detailed statement.

Wolf has the strongest statement. We need a governor like him

Pennsylvania needs strong animal advocates, we are so behind every other state. We are the only state that still thinks live pidgeon shoots are humane, just to name one.
