The whole point of putting these gates approaching our village is to make it up market and compliment the village status as a Conservation Village not putting even more signs up as Hampshire County Council seems to be obsessed with.
I've lost count of how many ugly, tasteless signs which flatter no surrounding area or building, whatever age have been erected in the Village.
Does this mean that some of these excess signs can be taken away as the speed limits are on the gates, which are more in keeping with a conservation village

I liked option C because the gate is at a slight angle therefore inviting you to enter the village, reminding you of the speed limit. The gates at right angles to the road appear less friendly and more of a barrier.
