There are better materials to use other than plastic for water. We should all have a reusuable bottle by now if not you are part of the problem not the solution. And there's no way in hell i would go back to drinking soda!! Water should be available to anyone who has their own bottle at no charge! Nestle believes NO ONE should have free water and banning plastic bottles would be the perfect foot-in-mouth for them!!

Get rid of that shit. There's a reason why they came up with RE-USABLE BOTTLES. Our tap water is clean and, personally, tastes better than most bottled water brands. Plastic bottles are expensive, wasteful, and horrible for our environment. I haven't bought a bottle of water for over a year - but I did invest in a sturdy, BPA-free, reusable bottle, and I've been doing just fine :) Forgot it and there are other sugar-filled, caffeinated beverages available instead? Skip them and find a tap or fountain. Those alternatives are bound in plastic too; the environment will thank you and so will your body. Ugh I don't like bland ol water? Throw some fresh, local, organic strawberries in your reusable container and fill that bitch up! Forgot your reusable bottle? SOL it'll teach you to change some lifestyle habits. Find a tap or fountain and remember next time.

If Vancouver bans plastic water bottles, what do you think people will grab to drink? It wont be a healthy option
