I believe the Canucks organization made the right choice. But the actual problem was gillis and the fact that he should of been dismissed four seasons ago. So far the Canucks have got rid of luongo , gillis ,tortirella. Now if they get rid of the twins and get replacements that can actually perform in the playoffs we just might see a Stanley cup in van in the next six years. I have a lot of faith in the great Trevor linden and believe that he will do as well as pat Quinn in the mid 90's. Two more axes and van has a fan onboard again. I have been so disappointed in the franchise and the decisions made in the past few years that I couldn't even watch one single game this 2013-3014 season. What if like to see is more Canadians or North American players. You all know what I mean ! Hard working grinding players. The ones who are born with dreams of winning lord Stanley's cup. Not the ones who are after duel citizenship or North American wages. How bad does vancouver want their names on the cup ? 85% north americsn players are needed on this team. I hate seeming European players play their hearts out during regular season and then do diddlely come playoffs. It's like they can't handle the the pace change between regular season too playoffs. But yet they can go back to they're own country and play finominal for the Olympics.

Another very bad decision. They are going to have to start from square one again and are now 4 million dollars poorer.
