We seem to know very little specific about how the church managed to cover the country with parishes. I would like to find something which would cover/could be called "From minsters to Parishes" Surely someone has done a thesis on this.
I live in Northumberland so that vote was easy. I am also interested, in any period of history, on day to day living, so that vote was easy. Of course I am interested in al, but those are the two main areas. I assume landscape refers to settlements, woods, bridges, etc - inextricably linked to day to day living. So my third and final tick. Enjoy your trip. By the way, I live about 3 miles from Heavenfield, in Hexham.
