I really, really liked this episode. This season has been so interesting with previous seasons formula abandoned and the dramatic intent of episode 9 now seems to be across episodes 8, 9 and I hope 10. This episode showed what the bedraggled thieves, cutthroats, volunteers and victims of justice in the Nights Watch can do when they have to, or choose not to do in some cases. Some of the storyline was telegraphed, but then this is episodic tv and it does have to keep a wide audience informed. I'm interested to see what the outcome of this episode is on the other characters.
