The place is beautiful and inspiring. The village too. The neighbors are very nice people.. But I was in an art residency, I was not a tourist in a small village in Cordoba.
To be inspired is not enough. There was no light, not good facilities (something so simple as a table for drawing). The temperature inside the building was not controlled and it was hard to work in cold weather.
I paid 700 bucks and I felt as a second class artist. Yes! There were "categories" and this was very obvious.
If you were one of their friends or protégés, you had all the help and support from them. If not, you were just an income.
I do not recommend it at all.
