I clop to ponies. I clop to ponies all the time. Hell, I own a Bad Dragon 'Mary the Anthromare' in pink. I am a human being and I masturbate, like 99% of all human beings do. Who or what I masturbate to is my own business. If jacking it to cartoon horses is wrong, then I'd like to know how bad guro scat lolicon is. There are perversions far more deviant and upsetting than an anatomically correct Rarity artwork.

I agree that this poll doesn't have much meaning in regards to 'how deep' we're into it. I do a number of those things to some extent, but not exclusively. The only exception being the amount of pony taking over my artwork recently...

The polls asks how deep we're in... but all of these are pretty intensely addicted options. Where's the levels?! I love ponies and watch the show and listen to music and such, but it doesn't dominate my life(thank heavens).
We need more thought-out options than "pick your poison", like how lethal the poison is!
Let's see... I watch the shows, repeatedly. I read and write fan fic. I listen to pony music and watch a lot of fan made videos. I draw, though not all that well. I have a few pony toys but not enough to take up an average bookshelf. I have a few shirts. I guess that's why I voted 'other' and I suspect that's why a lot of other people did too. The fandom is so broad that it's possible to pick and choose a lot of different things without getting obsessed about any single aspect.
I work so many pony cons, they have consumed my life!
I'm surprised he included that last one. At the very least, I would've expected it to be worded a little more subtly for the sake of potential younger visitors.
I think the check-box system would work better taking percentages out of totals, rather than comparing to the other choices. It can provide some very skewed data processed wrong.

Wow, such odd responses to the "clop" category. I clopped, and I thought that was normal for people in the fandom. I mean, its the single thing that got me into ponies in the first place: "Who is this "pinkie pie", and why is she invading all my fap materials!"

Well, this is just unfairly biased. The only options you have already assume you're addicted to the show. There are no intermediate options (eg I only watch the show) and thus 'Other' is in the lead. Bronies are identified because they watch MLP:FIM. A lot of us ONLY watch the show.
I watch the show, read the comics, and check out some fan created stuff, artwork, comics, videos, ect. I also own a few MLP items, but that's pretty much it. I think I'm into it enough to call myself a Brony, but it doesn't occupy my life 24/7.
Love the comics. However, I can't even *imagine* limiting my music to just fan-made beats. Too many cool artists and amazing orchestral scores out there.

Have to say I'm a little suprised at the negative reaction Clop is getting. Call me naive, but these people are honestly saying it makes them "look bad" to be associated with people because of what they choose to masturbate to? The same people who get self-righteous about other people judging them for what they watch? I always thought being a Brony at all required a certain level of open-mindedness, but apparently less than I assumed.

I'm a little disappointed about the whole "clop" thing.
It was 30% last year. Sad to see it's only around half this year.

If you had said most of our free time instead of all of our free time: I think more people would have picked it.
In addition to stopping in to EQD several times a day and commenting a lot, I read the comics, collect the Funko figures, read some fanfics and a -lot- of fan comics, and have pony wallpapers on my computer and phone. I am never far away from something pony-related. Went to my first brony convention last month at MLP-MSP and had a great time.
And go see A Brony Tale - wonderful little movie.

Well, well, well! Quite a percentage of you guys are cloppers, and it seems it's getting a lot of attention, too. I honestly don't know about the relevance of the question, though... it's the same as asking how big part of HC anime fans are into erotic material. Remember that clop pics vary from humanized to cartoon ponies, to... dunno, something else. I'm in no way against clopping myself - in fact, I don't mind a fine plot, even though I don't clop to it (I'm female btw) - I think it's just one of the innumerably various ways that sexuality can manifest in, so people should chill a bit. It's not that different from "normal" fapping.
I'm kind of disturbed at the amount of votes clopping is getting. Creepers are the biggest reason I don't associate with anyone within the fandom anymore. I like to keep the sexy to my own species.

I'm defiantly not a Clopper myself but we should respect those who are open about it because who are we to judge what they masturbate about behind closed doors, of course we have the right to say that we don't agree with it but disrespecting them just because of what they like isn't cool it just makes are fandom look like huge hypocrites when we complain about people disrespecting us because were Bronys.
While this vote is anonymous, and it might not feel as bad for others to admit they....'clop', it makes quite a lot of others feel uncomfortable seeing it get voted for. Maybe you should consider this in the future and leave this subject out.

A couple of opinions on this poll:
1. I don't think we should judge people's level of either obsession or their personality based on the way they answer this poll. I admit full-heartedly to not only playing the card game, but also reading the comics, collecting toys, and listening to fandom music. But I don't want to be "felt sorry for". I choose to do these things because I genuinely enjoy the show and what this magical world has to offer, and some of the fan-created stuff is very good-quality stuff. Does this make me an "A**hole"? Just because I like pony stuff? Is that really enough to condemn my entire personality? No. It's a dangerous thing when you start thinking of people as more than just people.
2. On cloppers: Unfortunately, they are a part of the community. However "they" are a part of every community - not cloppers, obviously, but something similar. Supernatural has its "Wincest". Even Frozen has its Elsa/Anna shippers. But I think we have to look beyond those "bad apples" and remember that there are other people in a fandom. Remember those charities that the brony community has run! Don't judge an entire fandom based on one vocally undesirable group.
People need to calm down about clopping it's NO BIG DEAL. 12% is not a whole lot when you think about it, I also dont get why clopping get so much attention... Its a perfectly normal and healthy human behavior to masturbate and does it really matter so much to people what others fap to?

Well, there we go I promised as soon as there was proof cloppers made up a significant population of bronies I'd leave and this seems to be it. I wear a lot of pony shirts. If that annoys people, then there is something wrong with them. It shouldn't affect them at all. Otherwise, I never bring it up, and I don't care whether other people like the show.
