What Should The Red Sox Do With Koji Uehara?
Trade him before the deadline. They never envisioned him as the closer, got everything they could out of him and now is the time to cash in.
Sign him to a new contract. He doesn't rely on velocity, so his arm will be fine into his 40's. He's been the best closer in baseball for over a year now.
Let him walk in the offseason. He turns 40 in April and will be way overpaid for a closer that age when he hits the market.
