Unfortunately, the reality of the few ruining it for everyone else holds true in this situation. Also, there seem to be a lot more misbehaving children in public than in the past. Maybe Generation X is fed up with all this psychobabble and the Millenial attitude.

Parents need to teach appropriate eating out behavior to their kids. I've seen children behave wonderfully with perfect manners and others who should be in a cage. I say have consideration for the other diners who are paying to enjoy their meals, not hear your loud kids.
