What plan do you think is best?
Option 1: Stay put in our cozy little home, on our cozy little cul-de-sac, in our cozy little neighborhood that we love.
Option 2: Buy the land, invest a small amount of money to make the house tolerable to live in for three years while we pay it off. Then, knock the house down and build our forever home!
Option 3: Buy the land, but don’t knock that house down! Completely gut it, add a second story and garage, make it us! But be sure to blog about every detail along the way!!
Option 4: Buy the land, build a garage with an apartment above it to live in until we build (in three years), and knock down the existing home. This garage would match the future house and be in a location that would make sense for future house to be a separate, detached garage.
