Do you believe the Pennsylvania state legislature should approve a bill legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes?

Don't even get me started with why Industrial Hemp is illegal. Totally different story, but it's like making all poppy flowers illegal even though only one variety can be grown for opium.

I'm sure our law enforcement officers are just too stupid to recognize the difference between cannabis grown for fiber and cannabis grown for it's flowers/extracts. :shaking my head:

Cannabis has a proven track record of being safely used to treat epileptic seizures as well as pain managment, appetite stimulation, and many other ailments that are treated with much more dangerous and EXPENSIVE pharmaceuticals. Cannabis is only still illegal because of the residual reefer madness that is reinforced by the ONDCP, DARE, and every other government agency.

At some point we need to ask what's more dangerous the drug or the prohibition from the drug? I don't know anyone that got shot over a pot deal gone bad, but the news is littered with stories about drug busts that went bad and resulted in the death or bodily harm of innocents and bystanders.

from personal use of marijuana for my medical problems i found that we need the thc in the bud, it helps with the pain relief and healing properties of the plant.

I think Pennsylvania and other states should allow medical marijuana in oil form, or allow flowers from high CBD plants. It will be easier to regulate this way and erase the stigma that comes with smoking it.

Smoking it gives one a very small part of the benefits, but having the entire bud in oil form is night and day, particularly with high CBD:THC marijuana - the type that doesn't get one high but has powerfully positive effects on the body and brain. Keep in mind this fact: marijuana is the only plant on Earth that causes the body to grow more receptors for it.

Thirty-five years ago my aunt was offered medical marijuana for cancer, which she declined. However, when I got cancer ten years ago, I didn't have the same option. I no longer remember the name of the medication, but what I was offered did nothing to help me. Why our governor would let people suffer when there is hope in the form of medical marijuana, is horrendous to me. Shame on him!
