Hi Jonny, I think you should visit Longyearbyen in either summer or winter. It is the most northern place in the world and home to the polar bear and many other things such as the midnight sun and most northern hotel and church.

Hi Everyone thanks for the comments so far. Michael - Sealand is a legitimate answer thanks!! Ray - yes I will list them of course with a month to spare, in the odd chance that one of them ousts the other five from the list! Safe travels everyone! Jonny

I chose Norway for selfish reasons...its the one closest to me so the biggest (although slim) chance that I can join you
Think I'll vote for the most awkward destination just to make things hard on you (not out of badness, I just know u thrive under pressure). So your 100th country has to be somewhere special and considering you have covered almost all of Asia there's not many places left to visit. e.g. Bangladesh would be a boring 100th and the Maldives will now be cliche. Bhutan is extremely hard to get to and has possibly the priciest VISA in the world so it will take a lot of saving, planning and effort. I know Naura would be awesome, worthy of 100 but Papua New Guinea is nearby so the two together could make a hard-to-beat 99 and 100. I'm probably thinking too much into this.
I have to agree with the others and vote Norway! While I know you will hit up the other countries listed, I think it will be both interesting and extremely valuable to learn how you backpack around Norway on a budget given how the Scandinavian Region is one of the most expensive areas on Earth! Plus, I have a few friends I have met on past travels that I would love to meet up with again. Would be interested in learning more about this place!

Can you please list the "Other" countries suggested once this poll is done? :D
Sealand jonny.
I have choseBhutan because it's no backpackers place. It will cost you $200 a day even if you sleep in a tent
