I would never leave a 7 year old alone. They get into things they shouldn't even when a parent is at home. If something happened like a house fire or a burglary, why would u put ur child in the situation to handle that alone. I think 13 years us acceptable. 10 is ok if your running down to the corner store or running a quick errand. Otherwise your just endangering your child. There are way more factors to leaving a kid alone than just whether or not they will behave.
