They're all 3 bad choices. Coldplay would be a very dull halftime act.... They're talented and everything but they're not exactly exciting are they? Katy yeah she puts on a good performance but she very rarely sounds good live. Rihanna sounds a little bit better than Katy but the spectacle isn't so great. Out of the 3 I think Katy would be the best if she lip syncs pre-recorded autotuned vocals. Personally the short list is very poor and there are many great artists out there that both sound fantastic live and put on a show.

among the three, katy gives her audience an amazing stage production but not an amazing voice. she just cant sing live. rihanna on the other hand, developed a husky voice that best compliments her raunchy and urban/ contemporary songs. i love coldplay but i think rihanna would just slay it. i mean she already has two icon awards plus if she gets this it is a good publicity for her upcoming r8 album. a win/ win for both parties.

They're all 3 bad choices. Coldplay would be a very dull halftime act.... They're talented and everything but they're not exactly exciting are they? Katy yeah she puts on a good performance but she very rarely sounds good live. Rihanna sounds a little bit better than Katy but the spectacle isn't so great. Out of the 3 I think Katy would be the best if she lip syncs pre-recorded autotuned vocals. Personally the short list is very poor and there are many great artists out there that both sound fantastic live and put on a show.
