I want to hear more because i haven't heard enough. I haven't heard about the police report for the shooting. I haven't heard the logic behind the racial makeup of the grand jury. I want to hear more because whatever the outcome, I want to continue to educate myself on the law and the application of that law. I think , for me at least, I settle back in to my comfortable surroundings and forget about the country at large...let alone the world. I want to see it through to the end. I want to stress that I don't find any joy or entertainment value in this. It does anger me but for me that's the point. I want the anger to motivate me to stay involved in whatever possible way I can. If Ferguson has taught me anything.....it's more of a reinforcement really....is to stay involved in my community and my government. More faces on the police force, the city council etc. could make for a more tolerant environment.

Dexter, something like the African Tea party would be awesome. I really do hope that the movement in Ferguson is the start of something like that over the course of my lifetime.

I'm tired of the news because the unfair treatment and brutality makes me sad, but at the same time I'm hoping it the start of something and not the end. I'm just hoping that never letting these things slide and the trouble that comes with all this attention makes people think twice before acting like this. Or that black people become or politically aware and active and a fringe group of extremist become just prominent enough to force people to deal with reasonable people of color to get laws passed. Oh please let us get a African and Mexican American Tea party, please!!
