Living in Martinique, I have met French people from France who fit all these descriptions. However, of course, everybody doesn't fit the stereotype and very few Martinicans fit any of them, except the one about being late...oh, and being on strike. I doubt if many Nova Scotians would even be aware of these stereotypes as most French people I meet haven't a clue as to what or where Nova Scotia is. You are one of the lucky ones! :-)
