This really sucks. The Mantis was so much fun. They could have gotten rid of the Mine Ride (I don't really like this ride). I really hope Rogagu (however you spell it will be worth the demolition.

this roller coaster has been my favorite since it's appearance at cp. it is by far the smoothest and most comfortable in my opinion. the new coaster they have planned to take it's place sounds fantastic, but I really wish they would have instead closed one of the other coasters in the park that are so rough that I won't even consider riding. I will seriously miss the mantis. =(

The Mantis is such a different thrill from the other coasters in the park; it's sad to see it go. Knowing Cedar Point, though, I'm sure a worthy replacement is to come.

One of my all time favorite rides at Cedar Point... I'm really not happy with this decision, it's relatively new compared to other coasters in the park.
