I would like to see OPEN primaries. I should not be forced to vote on one ticket or the other. Sometimes I like Democrat sheriff, and a Republican State Congressman. (And an independent Federal Senator.)
I would actually like to the R,L,D symbols (Party symbols) removed from the ballots all together. Lets make it so that the voters have to study the candidates rather than be fools and just voting for a party.
I would also like to see the seating in the House and Senate doled out by lottery. Maybe make our representatives sit next to another that they may despise. Might just make people look at another point of view instead of just following the party and the money they can get from it.
