St. John's council is increasing its subsidy for Mile One Centre to improve the books for the IceCaps. Thoughts?

All kinds of wrong; taxpayers should not pay for making it cheaper to operate a pro team

Good stuff, and a good investment; the IceCaps are now a significant player in the city economy

I wonder why we didn't hear any of this when the Jets & IceCaps recently announced their extension

Not sure, but I wonder why a team that sells outs all of its games cannot increase its ticket prices
