    Naturally I would choose my father. But seriously, he was an amazing ball player. Dad didn't talk much about his ability but many others did. I once was told by one of his peers that dad was 1st. team all state in every sport except one sport in his freshmen year. Whether this is true or not, I probably will never know but I believed it, by all the attention he received. He didn't like people to make a fuss over him but he was very proud of the" wall of fame" award that he received from O'Dea High. I'm proud that dad was even mentioned with the likes of Fred Couples and the other fine men from O'Dea. Another tale was that he was the first man to use the one handed push shot in basketball in the country. Maybe he was. Who's keeping track?
