Well, I can't feel too sorry for these fans, because:
They keep letting her back in. How can they explain themselves? As painful as Lauryn's fall has been, they just can't pay to see no one else. See, I know what they have to do: if they let go, she'll let go too.
Cause no one's hurt their fans more than she, and no one ever will.

No they're not, because lauryn is a public figure and for the most part these are hardcore fans she's screwed over multiple times, not just a whiny casual concertgoer.
On the subject of putting up with people's shit, the anthill hashtag creation is a wonderful reminder of what a good woman Karen is. Because the average wife would have been fed up with Rod's Internet antics by now. Though to be fair, Rod does put up with justin weekly for our sake. So I guess you could get away with remixing the fwbp song a couple times without causing fan outrage.
