  • Jithu - 9 years ago

The whole world watched the match, and anybody who have an average commen sense can see that she won the match, despite of the idiotic judgement, So stop this nonsense and atleast show some appreciation.

  • ROHIT C D - 9 years ago

    Look who is saying , " spirit of fair-play " !!!
Mr.Francis if you are reinforcing the spirit of fair-play on others , then do have the same policies for your judges .
Shame on South Korea , the world knows the truth !
You double-standard people , the " the spirit of fair-play " is applicable only to Sarita Devi , not you ? ?? ?

    Spirit of fair-play

sarita did what she had to i think she did right to bring the matter forward. her months of preparation n hardwork can't be simply ruined within few minutes with wrong judgement. the judges might have gone wrong, overall they r humans and they should have changed the decision.

  • naocha rajkumar - 9 years ago

we are supporting Sarita not because c's indian...but because the decisn gvn by the judges was totally bulshit..we wud have suported the korean if the same decisn is gvn to her(korean)..
This sport not a kind of business..AIBA sud c the replay of the match again n again n try to tke sme action against the guilty..

This did not happen to Sarita alone. We see this cheating daily in incheon boxing!
    SHAME ON KOREANS!!!
SHAME ON OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION OF ASIA!!!!

  • SHUBHAM GUPTA - 9 years ago

boxing association as well as olympic association must show show SPORTSMAN spirit .Rather than complaining to Sarita Devi that she has not shown sportsman spirit. She did correct,as she fought for justice.
    SHAME ON KOREANS
SHAME ON OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION OF ASIA
    SHAME ON INTERNATIONAL BOXING FEDERATION

  • Shriyanshu - 9 years ago

We are supporting her not because she was crying , not because she left her baby for one year ....NO

Its because she took a strong stand against wrong decisions by officials . To save the sprit and soul of Olympics .

Francis was talking about sportsmanship of Sarita.
With all respect let me tell you one thing Mr . Francis :
"Evan a blid man can tell you the end result of this match just by listening the commentary ."
Mr Francis said : "any boxer or athlete in other sports will not follow in her footsteps"
In reply to that : "For so many ppl in world , she is there ideal "

For Mr Francis : "What Sarita did was against the sportsmanship ."
"But accepting wrong decision in a Big Event Olympics what you will say to it : sportsmanship ?? "

  • abhishek raj sinha - 9 years ago

    dear sarita..
.u dont need three judge when you have 125 crores declaring in one voice that you are the winner and a true patriot who had the guts to make a solid statement by declining to receive the medal.....
result was evident from the marks of your blows on your opponents face.....
    come back home...
you have done far more that what the authorities are capable of judging....
you have won hearts....leave that piece of gold....
there is more to fighting that just that

  • vishwajeet kumar - 9 years ago

sarita ,you are winner , medal doesn't matter. we are with your side.
indians , show your support to real sportman.

  • Abhishek Patel - 9 years ago

After watching the event, It can be clearly said that the results from the judges shows bias. Even the commentator of the sports channel was amazed by the results during the live event. I support Sarita Devi. She maybe took an right decision for injustice.

  • george - 9 years ago

ALL ARE TALKING ABOUT SPORTSMANSPIRIT INCLUDING THE OFFICIALS BUT NOBODY IS REALLY REALIZING THIS SUPER WORD "SPORTMANSPIRIT" IS APPLICABLE FOR BOTH THE SIDES. DID YOU DO YOUR PART CLEANLY? IF YOU HAVE, THIS ISSUE WOULDN'T HAVE RAISED.
MY SYMPATHY IS WITH SARITH. WHATEVER YOU DID IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT AND THIS WILL ALERT THEM FOR NOT DOING NEXT TIME. SHAME ON YOU KOREA

THE SYSTEM OF GIVING MARKS SPECIALLY IN BOXING IS NOT AT ALL GENIUNE BECAUSE JUDGES CAN EASILY PLAY MALPRACTICE HERE.

By threatening disciplinary action against Sarita, Indian Boxing officials have proved to be gutless to challenge 'match fixing' by South Korea..

Those stupid and idiot judged should be ousted from any match in future. Have they ever cared to know how much hardworks an athelete has to undergo to qualify for an international event. This kind of judgement can destroy a career .

  • ajith - 9 years ago

what sportsmen ship the match was totally dominated by saritha allways why it happens to india . why cant wet a propasal of avoid host teams

  • jnx - 9 years ago

All judges should be banned forever. After all years of hard work and doing well, should she remain quiet and show
sportmans spirit. Everything suxxx even indian boxing federation

  • ravinder - 9 years ago

What is sportsman ship... if some one willingly cheat other sport person...show partiality for one country and knowing all this one should keep quit is so called SPORTSMANSHIP one is talking about......... one has fight for right thing...should rise voice if he get cheated......world knows she has been deliberately sidelined for which she deserve.. if this message one want to give from such a big platform(asian games).. then how can we expect young guys will come forward for the sports...... i stand by saritha...

  • rajgopal - 9 years ago

i have seen the the match many times and came to a conclusion that it was i Ms.Sarita who dominated.
of course it was a close contest but she had an upper hand.
a clear partiality is shown by the judges, probably kept an blind eye on the match.
it also shows that the judges favoured south korea to please them.
say about sportsman spirit is not only for the participant,as human being it happens when discrimination is
    faced.
also indian appeal was rejected which suspects foul play of judgement.

  • jayakarthik - 9 years ago

While it is easy to talk about sportsmanship but hard to practice it.south Korean official who preached about sportsmanship if he has an iota of Fair play and Olympic spirit should have spoken against the verdict.Indian Olympic association and boxing federation should desist from taking action against sarita devi.she wanted justice probably it was not done in an unemotional manner.we Indians have to support sarita devi.

  • RKS - 9 years ago

Sportship is to win or loose on fair decision but unfair decsion is like robbing. This is against the idea on which Olympic games and later Commonwealth & Asian were laid. We should ensure that spirit is not killed because of some vested intrests.

  • Bhaskar - 9 years ago

The judges should be banned from judging. If the association want to play blind then let them do it. But we have eyes and all have seen that the match was fixed. Shame on the Asian Olympics Association Booooooooooooo!

  • Rakesh Kumar Yadav - 9 years ago

If India has to appear a country with some self-respect, the Indian sports officials who accompanied the Indian contingent should be summarily dismissed and tried for treason. India should seriously consider making this a diplomatic issue, including boycotting South Korea and never participating in any games held in that country.

  • amulya - 9 years ago

we are all with sarita devi she had done the correct thing

  • Bhavya Singhal - 9 years ago

Sarita Devi did very very right.Shame on the Officials for not supporting her. Shame on those judges. Shame on those who feel she was wrong. The decision was correct and I am standing with her.

  • bbb - 9 years ago

It is very easy for the organisers to say that SD didn't show any sporting spirit. Where were these organisers when the cheating was going on? Why is it that no action is being taken against the judges? Is the entire population which saw the bout wrong? Only those judges are correct? They were totally biased. Even the foreign TV commentators were shocked by the decision. SD Did no wrong and the whole country supports her and her decision.

  • ARUN - 9 years ago

It was a natural outburst and not preplanned like judges of game had. It is very easy to say that she should have shown sportsmanship, but the same is applicable to judges also. They have clearly shown the biased approached to an Indian which every Indian should strongly protest. Every Indian must support Sarita Devi.

  • Yogesh - 9 years ago

IOA and other sports bodies MUST look at video evidence and initiate Fixing Charges against judges.
    Similar to football and Cricket.
Indian National Boxing Association must file a case in International Court for the same.

    Just talk won't do.

Shame on those who is saying that sarita was wrong... ya losing n winnig is a part of the game but losing by that means that we all had already seen then where is the spirit of game... wat see doing was rt. At least they had learn something.

  • AG - 9 years ago

3 Cheers for Saritadevi. If a panel of referees can humiliate you by giving a very biased decision, she has just done the right thing! It is a shame on the part of IOA to sit quite! They should have taken this issue up! If the panel of those referees do not get punished and suspended, India should return all their medals back and just leave the Asian games. If it is a mistake everyone will accept but when it is done with such intentions it must be punished. It is a Crime! When they say she should have shown sportsmanship where is the sportsmanship of the organizers? Are they not ashamed that their referees have done this? and instead of punishing the referees and making an official apology to Saritadevi they are trying to say that she does not have sportsmanship... so team India give all your medals back and come home and that will be an even bigger victory!!

  • V Jay - 9 years ago

Congratulations to Sarita Devi, for for boxing skills and the courage she has displayed. All patriotic Indians will support and pray for you. Shame on all the useless officials who accompany our athletes are really vestigial organs of the sports teams that represent our Motherland. May Bharatmata bless Sarita Devi with greater success.

  • Nimeesha - 9 years ago

My only question to those who feel she should have displayed sportsmanship spirit and accepted the unjustified decision is...what if the same scenario happened with our dear , over paid, over pampered cricketers? Would the BCCI stay shut? Would the media stay shut? Would the fans stay shut?

Here is true champion, a medal winner for INDIA at several international events and this is how the officials support her stand! Before initiating any action on her, the sports authority needs to throw out these useless officials who just want to free world travel with the team and have absolutely no interest or passion for the sport or the players or even the country! SHAME on THEM..

Sarita Devi - you are a true Woman of Grit. We Respect you!

  • Harish - 9 years ago

    AIBA.. Shame Shame.

Shame Shame Indian Sports official... Hats off to you Sarita Devi. We all with you.

  • Lianboy3 - 9 years ago

Not only the boxing judges all the Asian game judges are being Disqualify...
Kill all the judges if they say Sarita was wrong.

  • Jenish - 9 years ago

Shame on Indian officials... You should support our players.. If not, why on earth, you are there...

  • alex - 9 years ago

The judges consumed money and were spared, savita did nothing and the governing body is aftet her. This is absolutely shameful and ridiculous.

  • Porender - 9 years ago

    She did right.....
    I m with her support

  • jagriti - 9 years ago

i mean this is what something really disgusting those who are questioning about miss sarita's sports man ship should first look at the south koreans intentions .This is the main problem of our country the attitude of theirs towards every nowthen thing top from corruption till rapes they are just indifferent to everything .why we wait to raise our voices .

  • vinita - 9 years ago

That was a way of conveying her protest when all doors were shut for her. no doubt India performs low in games it is all because of the indifferent attitude of Indian officials towards our players.

  • Suresh - 9 years ago

Ex-sportspersons in management roles will help taking quick action in such cases.
Politicians turned sports managers or people who got in thru reservations do not feel the pain of injustice.

  • Praveen - 9 years ago

AIBA knows only to ban sports person but they don't have guts to stand against injustice..
    shame for AIBA

  • your nemesis - 9 years ago

Who the f is this david francis? A student of blind school? Or the person whos in charge of the bribery system in this "korean games 2014"? Speak only when you know everything Mr.Fransis. Are you a retard or trying to be one? AIBA is not yours..you alone cant make the decision..

  • abu masoom - 9 years ago

Only #AIBA can do this... #shame

ryt decision taken by #saritadevi (Y)

  • rru - 9 years ago

sportsmanspirit doesn't include accepting injustice and cheating

  • sunil - 9 years ago

She did the right thing by returning the medal..she was robbed of this medal, so no question of displaying so called sportsman spirit..And where is Indian media. why isn't a public opinion being formed..she needs a a strong support. .But I just wish she had controlled her tears..And pl sarita don't bring this North Indian issue..Every Indian is with u.. U r a rock solid fighter..u did the right thing. .....For us u are the gold medallist

  • Pramod - 9 years ago

Just becoz her opponent is from South Korea the judges were blindfolded , If it could hav been any other opponent from any other country it wouldn't had happnd , So nothing would happen , protests , complaints , emotions , nothing matters now

  • zaved - 9 years ago

We should respect sarita devi emotion, her hardwork. This shows how much respect other countries gives to indian they know no one is going to help indian sports persons. Sarit devi has done write thing.

  • Avies - 9 years ago

    Dear patriots,

This is the time that we need to stand along with our fellow citizen, she had done her great job by putting a perfect fight in the semifinals, but bad and corrupted judges where against her.
But we Indian should support her. And she has done the right thing by returning back the medal to Korean boxer.
She made us proud by not accepting the browns medal. She definitely deserve either silver or gold.

  • chetan - 9 years ago

The Indian contingent is a team... they should stand by sarita. She took a stand for justice. .. and we all saw it was not done... why can't a protest be there?
