I actually wasn't surprised that they were white, but I did feel a type of way at first...until I heard your opinions about it and it made me as, Why am I mad about this? I actually like Thug Kitchen and I will order their book when it comes out.

Oh Crap the Link didn't post - here it is. You don't have to read it, just proving that a lot of these bloggers don't bother to do basic research.

Listening to your Podcast on the way to work - thanks for keeping a Cubicle Negro laughing while stuck in the parking lots we in SoCal like to call "Morning commute". When I first heard black Twitter (and many of my conservative Black friends) all pissing their pants over the idea that Thug Kitchen was created by white people (hell anyone who really follows the site knew that already, I kind of chuckled. I guess the Social Just Warriors ran out of NFL think pieces this weekend.

As one who has been a vegan for years and LOVE the Thug Kitchen blog, the fact that these Ninjas are peeing their pants because some white hipsters made a cookbook and use F-bombs is what I'd like to call the "Suey Park Syndrome" - making issues out of nothing to raise your platform.

if these bohemian Negroes want get all hot bothered about black folks eating healthier and cutting back on meat - why not promote Bryant Terry, Latham Thomas or other Black vegan chefs who are promoting healthy plant based living? Because you can't get that those click bait points over at Madam Noire.

Here's a profile of black vegan chefs in Ebony

Also, the Thug Kitchen folks have stated in other interviews that they're just two dorky white people who just cuss a lot, hence the name.

I for one, will be picking up the book when it comes out and just had a "Fucking Chug This Strawberry Oat Smoothie" this wonderful Monday morning before my slowly trucking to the plantation.
