Shutting the borders is simplistic. That is, it won't help. It is impractical. It won't work. President Obama is right: Address this issue in Africa. This approach gets to the root of the problem and is the surest way to protect America and the world.

Shutting the borders is a knee-jerk reaction appealing to people's ignorance, fear, and prejudice, and is fueled, as usual, by Talk Radio political correctness.
