The God of Abraham and Isaac will save Nigeria from this shoeless Clown.

The Shoeless one has paid for an army of youth (that he didn't provide proper work for) to sit on the internet and start conversations that promote ethnic and tribal differences and abuse every tribe with stereotypical abuses.

Go to every online forum and you will see an army of evidently young people posting crazy statements in support of the Shoeless one. They will abuse every tribe and cause disaffection just to promote their divide and rule strategy.

Is this what a leader who loves his country provides funding for? Using the youth to cause disaffection? This Reno himself is ordinarily a smart man but lack of proper opportunities and his PERSONAL GREED has driven him to engage in this divisive activities.

My father is a Pastor in Redeemed but im a devout Catholic. By God's Grace i will give my vote to Buhari or anyone who stands against the Shoeless fool and his party; PDP.

Reno- Is this the Nigeria of your dreams? What stupidity makes you believe Nigeria will get better with another 4 years under PDP and their Shoeless leader?

the Shoeless man thinks solving power/electricity will automatically win him a place in the hearts of Nigerians? Listen, that is not all there is about leadership.

The shoeless man is an epitome of moral decadence.. Can you look at him and say he exudes honesty and inspiration leadership? Would you elect someone like him because he has grown rice, repaired a few airports and provided constant fuel in petrol stations? Is that all it takes to be a leader?

God can use who he chooses to change Nigeria. I will vote for a Muslim president if that will stop corruption and return some measure of sanity to this decadent Nigeria.

  • Cant Be Fooled - 12 years ago

Reno, you better make enough money from this your soulless work and buy yourself a nice house in the USA and save enough money to see you through the impending years of drought you will go through for this betrayal of Nigerians. If by Gods Grace the Shoeless Clown loses this election, you will be hounded out of NIgeria.

Next time i see you in a flight i will spit on your face.

How dare you support this disaster Govt because they repaired some roads, fixed some trains? His agric 'revolution' is on same level with his efforts to remodel the airports... 'flashy but no fundamental substance'.

Leadership without moral authority! Total failure inspiring followers! Let me tell you, everything the shoeless clown has achieved can be undone in one month because they are not built on solid foundation.

    Mr. Stealing Is Not Corruption!

You must be a clown like him! Nothing has been achieved by this Govt that has amazed me! I probably know more about what im saying than you do.

  • Mujahid Dokubo-Asari - 12 years ago

Reno, I pity members of your church if that is how you use to tell lies to them. What of the vote casted yesterday on this same Build Up Nigeria through Poll Daddy? You are a satan!!!

  • Zeeyy - 12 years ago

God will punish the owner of this site... One person voting multiple times. You are looking for what to present to the president! ...WE KNOW THE REAL TRUTH, BUHARI IS LEADING WITH MUCH PERCENTAGE. PERIOD!!!

  • Cant Be Fooled - 12 years ago

Build Up Naija & Reno- Be God fearing. Today is Sunday and you probably went to Church this morning. Yet, you device ways to prop up the credibility of this thieving Govt by manipulating this poll. This is ungodly.

If indeed you represent the future you must know that even the youth that you represent know that GEJ isnt the leader they want.

This poll is a sham and Ive noticed that many who voted for the shoeless man in the last election will be glad to see him disgraced out of Aso Rock.

My profile- I'm a Christian, Southerner, Voted for GEJ in last election, son of a retired Civil Servant, self employed businessman and a frustrated Nigerian.

    PDP MUST GO!

  • Elnas - 12 years ago

Hahahaha...if u have been following the poll, you will realise the initiator is not intent in getting an honest result but just an outcome he can present to his boss. First of all, online polls are not meant to last for more than 24 hrs. if u want to establish consistency, u could carry it out as much as u like. This poll has been on for about 3 days now. The result for the 1st 2 days is very revealing. It is not done by region of some form of segmentation, so it will be highly questionable for Buhari to lead by such huge margin in the 1st 2days only for Goodluck to speedily catchup in the 3rd day. I pity ppl like Reno who see the truth but simply choose to shy away from it because that's not what they want to see....sorry

  • truedemocracy - 12 years ago

Reno has mandated every member of his family to vote on this platform for his career is at stake and to ensure this for the first time a recharged card of #1500 each was sent to all his extended family member and we can now see the outcome. TAN is not also left out. Haaaaa.LOl. no be so

  • Ben - 12 years ago

We need an Independent body to conduct this online pool, only a mad will beleive that reno will allow his master GEJ to be disgraced by this pool. GMB will definetely win GEJ in 2015. GMB time has come, no PDP/TAN can stop it. Nigerians are solidly behind GMB. Reno cancel this pool , go and sleep.
When ones time comes, nothing can stop one.

  • Ben - 12 years ago

NA wa oo, i just returned back from church and checked the pool. OMG is this how PDP plan to Rig 2015? Thank God Reno has revealed PDP secret plan. PLease All Nigerians should defend their votes in feb 2015. We do not want what happened here online to happen in real life. There must be change. GMB must win and clean up all the mess of PDP. this online pool is not credible. becasue mutiple voting is allowed, Vote and clean your browsing history, you can vote again and again till you are tired.

  • Taiwo - 12 years ago

Now I know d true meaning of SCIENTIFIC RIGGING. Little wonder, INEC wasnt favourably disposed to electronic voting

This poll is no longer credible! It is open for multiple voting.

    What a shame!

(continued) With the return of democracy it was discovered that Buhari’s PTF was run like a northern enclave. The consultants that wound the fund down discovered over 70 percent of the projects executed were done in the north. The southeast was the worst of all the zones with barely a handful of projects executed there. So what offence did the South commit to warrant such neglect? The only reasonable explanation was That Buhari is a man whose worldview and consequently actions are shaped by his ethnicity and religion. That must be reason why he was the favourite spokesperson for Fulani interest. During the early 2000s, there was a conflict between Fulani cattle rearers and farmers in Oyo state. The conflict led to the death of some Fulani herdsmen. An angry Buhari was the spokesperson of the Fulani, and he warned the then Oyo Governor, Lam Adeshina to ensure the safety of his people or…There was nothing wrong with this, but for Buhari to define ‘his people’ as the Fulani of the north, why should we, the rest of the nation, expect a fair deal from his presidency? It is just like a member of Ku Klux Klan, the extremist white organization, coming to ask for votes from members of the black community in the US, or running fora national election. Buhari has shown biases for members of his ethnic group, what right does he now have to ask the whole nation to vote for him? Has he ever spoken for the interest of the South? The answer is no. Not a word was heard from him during the numerous ethno-religious crises in the north in which southerners and Christians were killed. Not a word from this man who wants my vote, the vote of a southern Christian. The only time he spoke up was to defend Sharia and the right of Muslims to have the religious legal system.

Buhari’s actions show that his worldview is narrow and shaped by his ethnicity and religion. There is no reason to believe he has changed. So why should I commit the leadership of my country into the hands of a proven religious bigot and tribalist? Why?

ONLINE Presidential Opinion: Multiple Voting Possible

We have critically looked at the online Presidential Polls independently conducted by SaharaReporters and BuildUp Nigeria and can authoritatively confirm that the result, though it can be tentatively adjudged to give a projection, there is a possibility of multiple voting.

For instance, if one clicks the link to those polls from mobile device, the IP Checker of the polls have the ability to truncate an IP address of a device that has already voted but if the same person loads the same link again from another device(e.g a desktop computer) which has a different IP address, the IP Checker will not be able to identify that the same person who voted with his Mobile Device is the one voting again with a desktop computer. Hence, there is the possibility of MULTIPLE VOTING.

From the above analysis, it can be said therefore that strategists of APC, the leading party in those polls should not rely on the result of the polls as they can be misleading.

But, there is a more better option provided by #Google from its Google+ Social Platform. The beauty of Google+ Poll is that you can only use your #GoogleAccount to vote. Google has made it mandatory that each google account has a verified Mobile Number tie to it, By implication, rarely would one attempt to open multiple Google Account for the purpose of setting up Google+ Profile which is what is required for its online poll.

For the purpose of generating a more reliable online polling result, we have setup our own ONLINE POLL using our Google+ Page

Please, visit the link below and vote.

This charge of ethnic bias has trailed Buhari throughout his public life. But as well noteworthy was his inflexibility and highhandedness. Two evidences will suffice. As head-of-state, Buhari promulgated the infamous decree four. The gist of this decree is that a journalist who reported any issue that embarrassed the military government would be sent to jail, even if the report was true. True to his threat, two journalists – Tunde Thompson and Nduka Irabor were jailed for reports, which though accurate were deemed to be embarrassing to the government. Another decree prescribed death sentence for drug traffickers, no matter the quantity of drugs trafficked; and to make it more draconian the law was retroactive. It ensnarled several drug peddlers months after they had committed the crime and before the law was passed. They were summarily executed in spite of the public outcry that the decree was against natural justice.

If Nigeria were to be US or a more sane society, the media would have feasted on these breaches by Candidate Buhari. The fact that he sacked a legitimate government would be enough reason to rule him out of national or statewide contest for a political office. The Americans and, to some extent, the Europeans are very particular about the kind of people who offer themselves for an election. This scrutiny is not misplaced. It is to ensure that people with dubious background never hold serious political offices. That was why the candidacy of George McGovern, the Democratic Party Candidate of the 1972 US Presidential election lost traction. It was revealed that his Vice Presidential nominee, Thomas Eagleton, once suffered clinical depression and had visited a psychiatrist. Eagleton wasn’t mad, but needed help for emotional issues. That was enough to derail the presidential ambition of McGovern, even though he eventually replaced Eagleton after initially dithering. Americans don’t take a chance, even the slightest one, with those they entrust with leadership. Whoever becomes the US President becomes leader of the free world and is ultimately responsible for its nuclear arsenal. So they cannot afford to take such a chance.

But why are many Nigerians willing to take a chance with Buhari? What in his antecedent give them hope that he will be a democrat, a fair and just leader to all? I have looked closely into the man’s history and optimism does not well up in me. As for fear, I have it plenty. For example, the 1990s were a tough period for our country. It was the time a lot of human rights and pro democracy activists took on the Sanni Abacha dictatorship. Many were killed, including KudiratAbiola and Pa Alfred Rewane; while thousand of journalists and pro democracy activists were either sent to jail or forced into exile. Many statesmen, Ekwueme inclusive, took a stand and confronted Abacha at grave risk to their lives.

Where was Buhari at this tumultuous period of our national life? Not a word was heard from him. Rather he was serving the dictator as chairman of PTF. None of the events of that time could sufficiently move him to stand up for democracy. Not the death of Kudirat. Not the attempted murder of Alex Ibru. Not the numerous protests by ordinary Nigerians who took to the street to call for the end of Abacha’s dictatorship. So how could he reap where he did not sow? How could we “gift” him with the presidency when, when it mattered most he did not show courage and failed to stand with the Nigerian people?

With the return of democracy it was discovered that Buhari’s PTF was run like a northern enclave. The consultants that wound the fund down discovered over 70 percent of the projects executed were done in the north. The southeast was the worst of all the zones with barely a handful of projects executed there. So what offence did the South commit to warrant such neglect? Buhari’s many faces:

No election is complete in the United States without a comprehensive background check on the candidates. Almost everything they had said, every actions they had taken and choices made are scrutinized by the media, and the opposition. Even the clubs, and churches the candidates attend, all is up in the radar. The essence is to dig out the true character of the contestants, their ideological preferences and worldviews, and how these may colour their decisions if they get elected. .

Americans don’t joke with the antecedent of their politicians, especially those vying for a top position. While a candidate running for an election often say the right things and make the right noises to get elected, an investigation of his background may reveal something entirely different. He may be a closet racist or a religious bigot, or simply incompetent. It was a background check that almost torpedoed the presidential ambition of Barrack Obama in 2008. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ pastored by the fiery Jeremiah Wright. Wright had condemned the United States government in several sermons at the Church, blaming it for most of the world’s ills, including manufacturing the AIDS virus. The discovery endangered Obama’s presidential dream as the suspicion was that he might share his pastor’s vociferous anti-American views. Obama eventually had to denounce Wright.

I wonder what a comprehensive background check might reveal about our Presidential candidates. But if there is one presidential candidate I don’t need any investigation into his background to know his opinion, worldview and biases, that man should be General Muhammed Buhari.

The Buhari narrative is very well known. He became head-of-state in the early 80’s at the age of 41 after bulldozing his way into power through a coup which led to the sack of the NPN government led by Alhaji Shehu Shagari. Buhari quickly made name for himself as a no-nonsense leader who would not tolerate any dissent and indiscipline. Or so he would have us believe. This public mien as a dispassionate anti-corruption crusader was however undermined by some of the not-so secret actions he took. Firstly after the coup, several political leaders were arrested and detained. But surprisingly, while the former President Shagari was kept in a cozy apartment in Ikoyi, his deputy Alex Ekwueme was jailed at the maximum prison in Kirikiri. The question, I am sure, Buhari still finds difficult to answer almost 30 years after is: what peculiar offence did Ekwueme commit to warrant the rough treatment he got while his boss had a much better deal at Ikoyi? If the public officers were jailed because of their collective responsibility for the actions of their government, Shagari as head of that government should take most of the blame. The only exception would be that that there were peculiar and personal allegations leveled against Ekwueme, the former VP, which his boss was unaware of. Mr Buhari may want to throw more light on this. If not one is likely to believe the allegations on the street that Ekwueme was treated more harshly because he is from the Southeast unlike Shagari who is from the same Northwest zone as Buhari.

Then during the time when old currency was being changed to new ones, Buhari announced the closure of the borders to ensure that there was no smuggling in or out of money. But even that action was dogged by allegations of bias coloured by ethnicity. Nasir El Rufai, the former FCT minister put it better in press statement he sent out earlier this year. “In 1984, Buhari allowed 53 suitcases belonging to his ADC’s father, to enter Nigeria unchecked, at a time the country was exchanging old currency for new ones,” El Rufai said. Buhari reportedly turned a blind eye to that infraction because the person involved was a leading emir from the North.

This charge of ethnic bias has trailed Buhari throughout his public life. But as well noteworthy was his inflexibili

I wish to state here that GEJ is a looser and has destroyed our great country. He should honourably leave the 2015 Presidential Contest,as all reasonable Nigerians would definitely NOT vote for him and this time around, Nigerians would not succumb to any sort of rigging,in sha Allah.
Gentlemen, look at the general insecurity, particularly in the North. What have we done to deserve this gross inhumanity? If it were the Civil War revenge, we're we the Only race that fought the War? Is it an abomination to safe- guard the Nigeria's Unity?
Gentlemen, look at the unprecedented corruption of this Government?! This is a Government where everything goes! This is a Government where the Head of it doesn't give a hoot about the Opinions of his Country men and women.! This is a Government where the Former CBN Head stated the aggrandisement of $20 Billion, yet instead of glorifying him for exposing that Treasonable Offence against the State, was dishonourable humiliated out of Office!
I am lost.I am shedding tears.I am pained.I am frustrated.I am dejected and I am indeed amazed at the devastation of this Government.
GEJ please leave this mantle and go home to Bayelsa, please.
The truth is WE DON'T WANT YOU.WE DONT WANT YOU AND INDEED WE DONT WANT YOU.
We have fervently been praying to the ONLY ONE AL MIGHTIEST OF ALLAH SWT, to expunge us from this Government and I am optimistic,He Has answered our Prayers and yearnings.

There are over 40 million registered voters in Nigeria! At least 1% of them (400,000) should be allowed to vote in this poll to have a slight shade of credibility. APC internet warriors who rushed in the first 5,000 votes don't want others to vote before the poll is stopped. PLS DON'T DISENFRANCHISE THE MAJORITY!!!

Omogri or whatever they call you, close the poll, fraud master. You ll sink with GEJ

Pair buhari with oshiomole as VP and bad luck 'slow motion' Jonathan will not get up to 20% of votes in 2015.

For how long is this poll gonna remain open? Today, October 19th, is the third day. Similar poll conducted by Sahara Reporters ran for only 24 hours and was closed accordingly. Unless this site have a hidden agenda to buy time and mobilize for their preferred candidate, this poll should be closed.

  • Adeniyi - 12 years ago

@ Mr. Tam and Mr. Yakubu please read this and be informed that GMB is tested and trusted. @ all if u are in support of GMB forward this to as many Nigerian youths as you can.WHO IS AFRAID OF BUHARI?
This is written because of millions of
Nigerians who are below 30 and who
constitute a significant chunk of our voting population.
This is the ICT generation that is largely ignorant about the events of the Buhari era (1983-85) and so can be
    misinformed and misled by needless
    propaganda. Many in
the under-30 bracket and those slightly above who only have faint recollections
of the Buhari era and the level of
ignorance about that era is amazing. They only think of UEFA, la LIGA and WWF!
Before being MILITARY Head of State, Buhari had been Governor of one of the Northern States (under Obasanjo’s Military government) as well as Minister for Petroleum. He later
served as Chairman of PTF under Abacha.
Please consider the following unassailable facts:
    ·He birthed and supervised the
    establishment of our existing refineries.
·There was no religious crisis while he was Head of State. It started under his successor, IBB!
·In his time as Head of State he reduced inflation from 23% to 4%, by fiscal discipline and a homegrown economic
team (not achieved under any other era, even military).
·JJ Rawlings of Ghana took over 2 years before him, and killed all the corrupt leaders, while Buhari only sentenced the corrupt leaders here to prison.
·Under his watch as PTF Chairman, what he did in road construction in that
short period hasn't been matched by 12 years of the PDP.
·Hospitals and universities around the country never witnessed as much
benefits as they got from the PTF from
any government after or before his time.
·Despite serving in senior capacity in
the oil sector, first as Minister for
    Petroleum and then Petroleum Trust
Fund, Buhari has no petrol station, much less a rig, refinery or an oil block like so many of our leaders.
·He could have retired into nauseating opulence like an IBB or Danjuma or even OBJ, but didn't.
·Instead of hobnobbing with the high and mighty, he has cast his lot with the ordinary man most of who follow him out of hope and belief in his values. People who know him have said of him, "All I need from Buhari is his word, I can take it to the bank".
·He is the only politician in the North today who fills rallies without renting a crowd. The Kaduna rally of 2nd March is eloquent proof!
·He refused to collect an allowance
while serving as Chairman of the PTF
because he said since he was already
    drawing a pension from government,
his conscience would not allow him to draw another salary from the purse of the same government.
·He is the only former head of state
that does not own property or land in
    Abuja.
·Every attempt to rubbish him through
probes in time past eneded up vindicating him! The man who was asked by OBJ to take over the running
of PTF before it was scrapped with the
aim of probing and indicting Buhari, was the one who ended up being prosecuted
    for misappropriating $100m of PTF
    funds! Buhari again, was vindicated.
·He has OPENLY challenged those who
accuse him of religious fundamentalism to come out and show proof. No one has till today, taken up the challenge. His personal driver of many years is a
    Christian from Plateau State !
    ·His government initiated the War
    Against Indiscipline that has made
environmental cleanliness, queuing up, not urinating by the roadside, etc
features of our national life even till
today Does it then surprise you why
corrupt people would be spreading such heinous rumours about Buhari? He is a threat to them and they know what he is capable of doing to corruption and corrupt people when he comes into office! So shine your eyes and make the right decision. If honesty and probity are the things you want for
Nigeria, now is the time to choose right. When you cast your vote for BUHARI, you would have cast one vote for a honest man.

For President Jonathan, a father that keeps rushing to the market square every other day to annonce the 'raping' of his family by another man without taking action,is not worthy to be called father. Congratulations Buhari!!!

  • Emmanuel - 12 years ago

GEJ's attempt to divide Nigeria along sentiments has failed by this poll. We know whats is good for us. All the crap of labelling Buhari as a zealot has failed. GMH 2015 UNSTOPPABLE. PDP pack and go, we ll teach a serious lesson, corrupt fools.

  • Onyeze V I - 12 years ago

For the wise, my question is this: If you are gravely sick and your life is in danger: Do you care whether the doctor treating you is Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba? Chances are that you just want a competent doctor irrespective of ethnic origin. That said, I supported GEJ previously but after 6yrs, I am convinced it is time for change. We need Buhari to steer this country in the right direction. Buhari, I pray he wins APC primary, is the right person to lead us. The presidency is not an entitlement and I don't want to hear people talking about it's anybody's turn. I'm Igbo (Nri) and I support Buhari because he has a good track record of performance and he will fight corruption.......the sickness that has held us back for too long. He is one person that can stand up to these useless politicians that feel they are untouchables. That's why they're spending billions to discredit Buhari by either saying he is Boko Haram sponsor and if that doesn't stick, they turn to "he's too old". IF Buhari sponsors Boko Haram and GEJ has evidence about this and have not arrested him, why do I want GEJ to continue as president? People......use your brain. Don't fight for people that don't care about you or your family. They steal billions from us and then hand over 3 cups of rice to you to go and kill for them. Wake up people.....Ghana will soon stop refusing Nigerians entry. Let's change Nigeria today. Vote Buhari.

Sad to see Reno rigging the result vote on his Facebook pages. This is not about religion or tribe. Its about failed system. Change a must. This is a micro Nigeria and we have spoken.

  • ADEKUNLE - 12 years ago

GMB IS THE PEOPLES CHOICE.EVEN HALF OF P.D.P GOVS AND MEMBERS WILL SURE;Y VOTE FOR HIM.

GMB is d only answer 4 a beta change peace, unity nd progressive.

  • Sam K - 12 years ago

One will expect that seemingly educated people like Reno should know better. To start with, for an opinion poll gauging public opinion it should not run more than 24 hours except if the conditions surrounding the poll changes. More so if he's thinking by leaving the voting to go on longer GEJ will surpass GMB, while, he will end up damaging GEJ's reputation because by now any serious minded person knows GEJ has lost with this result. How did we end up with such people as our leaders for crying out loud? He's supposed to be cleaning out this administration's errors but he's adding to them. No him fault sha na the pepsin weh put am there?

  • Nas - 12 years ago

How long is this poll lasting? Obviously the longer it stays the more prone it is to rigging.

  • Abdul - 12 years ago

Before it was Sahara that did the online sample voting and it was criticized, now it is Mr Reno and even him as GEJ supporter should have surrender. BUHARI is the people choice.

  • Sule Auyo - 12 years ago

This is not only an evidence that GMB is not only the change that Nigerians are yearning for, but a vivid and illuminated lightning that flashes the spontaneous mindset of reasonable and rational Nigerian Patriots. Gaba de-gaba de Baba Buhari !

    Goodbye Goodluck. Hello Buhari!

We've had enough of this bullcrap! Corruption, poverty, joblessness, infrastructural decay, impunity, disrespect for the people, enough of PDP, enough of GEJ.

What's happening Buhari! How you been? Step right in!

  • Dan mim - 12 years ago

Fellow Nigerians, we should be behaving like civilsed people PLS. We should put ethnic and religious differences behind us. Let any one who can transform our dear nation be there to lead us. For how long shall we stagnate and back slide.
Corruption is at its peak, education at its lowest ebb , electricity generation is declining, security in our dear nation is scaring , poverty is all over, joblessness of our youth on the increase, everything is in the negative.
Fellow Nigerians the future of our children and children yet unborn is in our hand. Let us vote for any one that is a symbol of hope irrespective of his or her religion or ethnicity.

Thank God u conducted this poll to counter dat of Sahara reporter. Do GEJ well by giving him feed back. Let him know dat Nigerians are tired of his rule and PDP. This is a reflection of wat will happen in 2015. Sai Buhari...........One Nigeria!

  • truedemocracy - 12 years ago

In 2011, Nigerians voted Jonathan but not PDP with the hope that he will really transform Nigeria but it appears he cannot handle the big wings in PDP who are frustrating his achievements because he who pays the piper dictates the tune. Now, we want a change and trying another candidate from another party won't be unreasonable. Even if PDP features Buhari now, he might not win the election. A child borned 15 years ago should be preparing for SSCE now as an achievement but PDP could not at least solve the problem of electricity. Chaiiii

May God help with Godfearing leader.

  • Bololo - 12 years ago

And so, that was how Mr Reno Omokri was said to have lost his job as an online mouthpiece to Goodluck Jonathan. Indeed Mr Reno committed a grievous blunder by commencing a poll which he wasn't sure of the possible result, perhaps overestimating the popularity of his paymaster.
There are rumors in certain quarters that Mr Reno has started moving his things from Abuja, and will soon be at his fathers house, jobless and utterly disgraced out of office, just as his paymaster will in 2015. We say, it came too late.
    More after this, stay tuned.

If I have a dog that is called PDP, I will dash it to dog eater to use it for Barbecue. JONATHAN WITHOUT "GOODLUCK". Those that wish to vote for JONATHAN WITHOUT "GOODLUCK" in 2015. Badluck will follow all of you for the rest of your life. Ameeeeeeeeen.
