Nava has versatility at all three OF positions and 1B, he is relatively inexpensive and would be a good fit for many NL teams (pinch hit, late inning replacement) and should draw a prospect for the farm system. Given what the Sox gave up for Cespedes and the need for offense don't see him traded unless the team is out of it next summer.

Rice,Lynn, and Evans should stay. Oh! It's not 1975?

Sox need to deliver for fans, and to give Lester a message: pitching is available elsewhere. Mookie and a lower tier pick for Hamels.

Craig and Bradley must go..I would platoon Nava at 1st. base with Napoli. That would leave Nava and Holt for the outfield if needed...

What in heavens name are the red sox keeping Allen Craig and especially Jackie Bradley jr ? Are they afraid that Al Sharpton and David Duke will show up in boston !!! Nobody, but nobody can justify Jackie Bradley jr playing in the major leagues !!

I voted for JBJ, but I'm quite sure someone else will be packaged with him for any true value, like a top prospect and with the abundance of quality prospects in the Sox organization, it should be easy finding a suitable trade partner. Without at least TWO additional starting rotation pitchers, any trade would be of little or no consequence.

I voted for Cespedes to be the most likely traded but was pleased to see that most of my fellow pollsters chose JBJ, I'd like that, too, even prefer it to Cespedes being traded. However, Cespedes hasn't shown even a modicum of interest in playing for Boston in 2015 let alone agreeing to an extension of his current contract which ends after the 2015 season. So, Yoennis, if you don't want to play for us, guess what? We don't want you to play for us. Go elsewhere, you ungrateful wretch! I just hope that some day in the not too distant future you realize how lucky you were to have a chance to play baseball for the Boston Red Sox. Guess that's a faint hope. If you haven't realized that fact by now, you're too dumb to ever figure that out!
Now, if Cespedes has a change of heart and attitude, I'd love him to play Left Field for us. But, boys and girls, that's a huge IF and is very unlikely. Especially now that he has opted to change agents.
My problem with the idea of trying to trade Jackie is simple: even with his dazzling defense, we won't get much for him in return. Maybe as part of a package deal we could realize an acceptable R.O.I. (Return On Investment). My fear is: who makes up the rest of the package?
