At one of the Q&As in the UK, Rowan Joffe, if I remember correctly, said that the distributors were unwilling to pay so much money on publicity. I have seen the film several times, including tonight at my local cinema, and think it is an excellent thriller. There were posters around London, and on several rail stations around the UK, and snippets of the trailer on UK tv, but not enough. In Cambridge, the cinema was full, but tonight, only half full (it is Downton night here!). We think such a good thriller, with such an excellent twist should be seen by as many as possible. Nicole Kidman gives the perfrmance of her life, and Colin Firth is as no one has ever seen him, quite shocking!
