Smoking should be banned in apartments. I just purchased a unit recently (only a strata of 9) and I cannot relax on the balcony nor have my windows open of an evening of a hot summer's day. I thought buying in a quiet area and next to a school would solve the previous issue of not being able to open my window at night due to noise pollution from motor vehicle traffic however if there are smokers in the building I can never escape from an uncomfortable night's sleep. Being on the strata committee I would like to definitely put in place regulation to prevent smoking in the building.
