I have noticed in Houston, the Electric Companies and water companies get snarky during the peal months (March-October) and more lenient (Nov-Feb) when usage is down. Then the gas company (cause people use more gas in the fall/winter), starts to get snarky from Dec - March.
I have my gas on level pay.
I pay $80 a month to my water company most month even though the bill is really $45-60. Why, because they will shut you off for being $1 short on a bill when you have paid what the "balance due" shows.
And that is the reason i dump reliant.
