Brooke MacKinnon is an amazing teammate! She is truly a role model on and off any court/field. She helps others and is constantly supportive. Brooke illustrates tremendous sportsmanship, and really is the perfect definition of an athlete.

Brooke MacKinnon is a wonderful athlete. Good luck.

Brooke had an absolutely amazing OFFSSA golf finish this year given her young age, but what impresses me most is her well-rounded athleticism combined with her selfless team-first attitude that should be an example for all young athletes.

  • Rick Bains - 5 years ago

Brooke embodies the definition of a young athlete -- testing her physical limits which are already outstanding, leading by performance, character and pride and finally, adding sportsmanship to her overall diverse, athletic abilities. The kind of person that makes a hometown proud!

Brooke has been tremendously consistent in her outstanding athletic achievements in multiple sports during 2014, and truly deserves to be selected female athlete of the year.
