Pythons, Anacondas and other large snakes are very selective of when they feed. This is because their body has to go through drastic physiological changes in preparation for digesting such a large meal. Those changes include its liver tripling in size and metabolic enzyme expression increasing several fold. So the chance that they would catch a Anaconda that just so happen to be ready for a meal is really low. And like Rod stated, Anacondas have no interested in eating anything alive. The chances are that the Anaconda would have just killed him and left him in the brushes for something else.
