Greatest show ever.. and to answer your questions, the homeless lady was in fact, the REAL grim reaper . My favorite character was opie and of course Jackson.

oh my goodness, what can I say? What a great tv show! I am a 67 yr. old female who fell in love with Jax the first night the show came on, because, he reminded me so much of my younger son in appearance. I never missed "Sons", not once. I cried when Jax died, but, after all the killing he did in the show he didn't have a choice; he had to die or be arrested and live in prison for the rest of his life. The was no hole deep enough to keep him from the law forever. It hurt to see him die, but, as always he did it his way. I liked the smile and peaceful look on his face as he decided it was time to die. Odd that the truck driver was the same man who carried Gemma to the town where her father was. Jax went out like his dad, on his cycle. I would have much rather Jax and Tara got out of town with their sons, but, there was more for us to see before the show was to end. The writer and all of the actors and actresses did an amazing job. Don't know that I can ever see another one that I could get into like I got into Sons of Anarchy. This show has left me wondering about myself in that I believe I am a Christian, so, why did I love this show so much?? Thanks for the sweet seven years; now I am lost about what to do next Tuesday night since I won't be seeing my favorite show and Jax.

Sorry to see this show comes to a end. The BEST DAMN SHOW on TV that has been worth watching. Hell, I will even watch the reruns again and again. I didn't think it was the cowards way out as if he lived to watch his children grow there was a chance they would grow up in violent atmosphere. He gave his children to his first wife as to me a gesture in trying to not have any connection what so ever, to the town, the club and the violence that occurred. Charlie Hunnam what a great actor. I will truly miss him, well I will miss the entire show. Kurt Sutter, man you should have been nominated many times and winning all of them. Shame on them. Katy Sagal, what a phenomenal actress, I no longer look at her a Peg.. Great show, many many thanks for the 7 seasons. Great show with great actors/actresses and a great writer and of course Charlie Hunnam ability to connect with his character Jax and bring him to life and into our homes every episode. A round of applause to all!! On the plus side, Charlie cleans up pretty good at the end of the day. =0)

Was a little disappointed with Jax driving into the truck. It was anti-climatic. Also, it would have been better if Jax finished what his dad started.

  • Sharon - 9 years ago

The whole last season sucked! I'm a soft hearted soul and wanted Jax to finish the good his dad wanted. There was always good in Jax and they could have taken the storyline in that direction instead of portraying him as a crazed killer. It didnt fit. He should have taken his kids and gone off to start a new life. The life he always wanted deep down. They ruined the series. Howeber, Charlie Hunnam is awesome!

So jax never does grow up and assume responsibility as a father and husband. But instead takes the cowardly way out. I guess he never grow up and out of that pathetic ignorant lifestyle. He was a bad example for all, even at the end. A total waste of a life. Nothing to be proud of.

Ibecame hooked on SOA about 5 years ago. And the intense moments kept me on edge. The deaths, the paybacks I ended up cheering for the bad boys. I never thought I would get hooked. But I did. But when Jax shot his mother that was a tense one, had me going back and forth no he wouldn't and he did, Suspense !!!!!!
The final epoisode, i have nothing to talk about, it had no real suspense, it failed in what I had become accustom to. But I do have memories of past seasons.

Real outlaws or 1%ers don't go out this way. Coward not facing his judgement. This why its a TV Show. Real bikers will understand this post. To the rest, enjoy your fiction tale of OUR true life.

What a disappointment. The best part of this whole 7th season was the final song and the end credits which let me know I did not have to watch another one of these.

In my opinion, the homeless woman only appeared to those who were about to die. Opie, Clay, Tara and Juice all saw here at different times during the past 7 seasons. Therefore, she was the Grim Reaper. Sutter's scene between Jax and the Grim Reaper set up the ending. When she looks at Jax and tells him "it's time" along with the shot of the bread and wine was truly one of the best in the series. He was at peace with his ending. With music director Bob Thiele, the show was an epic nod to Shakespeare. Well done. SOA will go down in history as an epic piece of tv.

I love the show. Never missed it. But I thought the final episode was lame. With all the violence and death that has went on throughout the series and then to have Jax commit suicide. That definitely didn't go with the rest of the series. I love Jax don't get me wrong and I knew he had to die but in my opinion it should have been a more intense death. He should have been killed by the club. That's what they voted on

Before i begin to express my opinion on the final episode of SOA , Kurt Sutter is an amazing writer and i think that SOA should have won at least one Emmy in the whole seven seasons that they produced. The writing and the acting definitely meets the criteria that is required to win. Now everything leading up until the last 5 to 10 minutes was excellent, but the decision to have Jax commit suicide by crashing into a 18 wheeler feels like they just ran out of ideas. Now this is just my personal opinion, but i feel that jackson should have gone out with BANG that his character so truly deserved. As Moses tortured Bobby, he told Moses that no matter what happened to him that it would result in a member of Sam crow slitting his throat. If it was up to me i would have had Jax, Chibs ,Tig and Happy going to where August and Moses held Bobby. Then killing August as well as his security and having Jax shot during the purge. resulting in him realizing that his wound is fatal and he will not survive , but not before he slits Moses throat. Then you have him talking to his dads memorial spot in which he leads the cops on a chase and as he"s bleeding out and slowly dying, he passes out from the loss of blood and drifts into the oncoming path of the 18 wheeler killing him.

Loved the show, didn't want Jax to die though. I loved him. Knew it was coming but still brought me to tears, especially when I thought Chibbs was going to shoot him :(

  • Anjolie - 9 years ago

Wow!! What a awesome finale. I wanted Jax to get away but I knew he wouldn't, he had already accepted his fate earlier. What a superb show.

  • Michelle - 9 years ago

SOA was my favorite show the past seven years. The writing was creative and insightful in developing these rich, complex characters. Jax was easy on the eyes and reminded me of a person, place and time years ago, that was personal to me. I wish everyone involved in making the SOA,
    the best life possible. Good-bye

  • Lorrie franks - 9 years ago

i knew last week jack was going to die , I could tell where the writer was going with it .. Was very disappointed in the end . The writer was so creative until the end and nothing happened that I did not exspect to happen . Just very disappointed in the finale show . Sorry just being honest ! Not his best writing .

Perfect ending for an epic show. It couldn't end any other way. Jax had to die..one way or the other. He did it on HIS terms. There could be no happy ending. All other shows take note...this is how you end a series. SAMCRO now and forever...till we all meet Mr. Mayhem.

  • Ellen Mattner - 9 years ago

Beautifully done! The quote by Shakespeare at the very end moved me and provoked so many thoughts...Class act by all! Thank you! Going to miss all of you greatly! Best of all life can bring! To everyone involved with this most ever evolving story!

Jax killing himself is dumb. .they should have let him live put his life with the kids at the farm or drive off into the sunset..after all the people he killed with no effort or remorse and than he takes his own life. I liked every episode and alot of things happened but him killing himself..just doesn't fit
