I don’t support the idea of giving into terrorists demands, but in this case, i believe Sony did the right thing. Although I believe in the freedom of expression, Sony was under a barrage of attacks and a very deadly threat was issued to all moviegoers and people in the vicinity of movie theaters. If they hadn't have pulled the movie, the entire industry would have suffered due to fear and potential death could ensue. Although it is fun to joke about how weak North Korea is, the truth is their leaders are ruthless psychotic bastards who could easily be driven beyond reason to send suicide bombers or gunmen to theaters and therefore this threat should be taken seriously. Sony is just a corporation, when threatened by a country, they should be fully backed by the US and the UN. Due to how public this event was, there is little doubt that both will be required to respond to this threat if the freedom of expression is to be protected.

Personally, I refuse to see ANY movie with either of these two idiots "starring" in it. ANY recent movie they have made together or separately over the last couple of years has been nothing but mindless trash! I still haven't forgiven Seth Rogen for his disgraceful presentation of "The Green Hornet" and lets not forget Seth Rogen and James Franco for the MEGA-STUPID: "The Pineapple Express". The question shouldn't be: Did Sony Do The Right Thing By Pulling 'The Interview'? The question should be if Sony did the Right thing by making a movie with either of these two idiots mixed with a movie surrounding a touchy subject!? How's that for freedom of speech? As a Vietnam War Veteran, I got to see this long drawn out war with this country first hand, something these two idiots have no appreciation for having never served any military time themselves. Maybe if they had they would have made a better choice and refused to make yet another idiotic movie. I think it's poetic justice that these two idiots are now living in fear of their lives, cancelling appearances and gone into seclusion over something they should have given much more serious thought to, all for the sake of "comedy" and the all mighty buck, which now stops here! That's what happens when you make a movie while doing drugs and worse yet, you as a movie-goer, have to be on drugs to half-way understand the mindless effort that went into it (The more recent movie: "Birdman" is a good example of this)! I hope this serves as a "lesson learned" for both Sony and these two idiots!
