    Jim, one of these days you'll find how little you know. For the record, George Washington, ALL of the first Congress, ALL of the first Supreme Court went to St. Paul's Chapel immediately after his swearing in and DEDICATED THIS NATION TO THE GOD OF THE BIBLE. Historical fact whether you like it or believe it or not. I suggest you read "Christianity and the Constitution" to find out how little you do know.

    The reason for the season is Axial Tilt. That gives us Winter Solstice or Yule, to most. This nation was founded upon religious freedom. not religious servitude. The founding fathers were free thinkers and most were Unitarians. Free thought was one of the great reason for this country. This is not a Christian country, it is a free thought country;

    We go to church, sing Christmas carols about Jesus Christ and have communion. Then we come home and have dinner together, unwrap presents and watch a Christmas Carol. It is my favorite day of the year.

    I tell the kids that if they don't go to bed, I'll start a fire in the fireplace so Santa can't get down the chimney.

    My family tries to make sure the U.S. Constitution is followed during the holidays. It's not always easy in an area like ours. We also like shooting down mistletoe out of trees, baking delicious treats, and spending time together as a family.
