When is the correct time and place? I can't even put into words how proud I would be of my daughter for taking a stand. I hope they brought tickets and wore them in the bleachers. I hope everyone in the crowd was uncomfortable. I think there is a misconception that white people like to ignore these issues and that's not the truth. They love talking about it but they are very selective about the people they choose to discuss these topics with. I saw a classmate reading a CNN story about Ferguson on his computer until he saw me coming. You would have thought he was watching porn the way he closed that tab.
