I would ask: are you talking about writing that contains a message? A religious message?
If such writing has and pushes...in any manner...a message of absolute and eternal consequence,
can it be thought of as fiction? If the message is the massage, does the writing become a tract or
religious treatise?
Would the skeptics among your readers say the very idea of such writing as' message'...in an uncertain
world/universe...makes it fiction by definition? One might keep in mind that there are people of many religions writing/creating with religious themes embedded in their writings and these faiths are all making truth claims.
