Luongo is an outstanding, amazing goalie who made the Canucks the best they had ever been. He helped take the team so far, he stayed dedicated, focus and driven, especially under all the pressure. when it wasn't just him but all his team that failed. He deserved that ovation plus a long overdue apology from Vancouverites who didn't appreciate what he had accomplished. I never blamed or resented him for leaving, I think he needed to go for us to understand our mistake. Maybe now when he does come back with his new team we keep this in mind.
