Do You Think NYC Salons Should Receive Letter Grades?

I think the letter system is desperately needed. I work with a podiatrist. The number of patients that come to the clinic for nail fungus after getting a pedicure has increased over the years. Nail Salons practically do what the podiatrist does but in a unsanitary manner. Unlike the podiatrist, they cut nails without cleaning the instruments. Those instruments should be autoclaved after each customer. Their incubator (for instruments) is often dirty. Do they check for any spores or bacteria? Some Salons are now warming the towels. Are those incubators cleaned periodically? Now lets talk about the instruments used for Manicures and tips. the volume of customers can be so high, that they dont have the time to change or rinse any supplies. i have also seen many salons recycle the ACETONE that is used for soaking your nails.
I love getting my nails done. Unfortunately, i have stopped doing so because of how dirty all of the Salons are in my neighborhood. Please introduce the Letter Grade to all salons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
