And when he died...i was too young to know what the world lost that day. To me michael jackson's was better than any others prfrmnce. It was more memorable and valueable and still relevant to watch. He didnt use technologies and special effect as todays but for at that time it looks modern. He was controlling the props, not the props controlled him. He was so charismatic even stand on the stage for 2 minutes gave ppl in awe. That makes him a true and best performer and of course a legend

Madonna still holds the record for the highest viewing figures, her event was just that, and event. Unlike pretenders Beyonce & Britney, Madonna was able to pull from an iconic back catalogue of hits which spanned decades and continents. We in Europe who have no idea what the Superbowl was, sure enough did after Madonna took to the stage! From her Egyptian themed entrance to the gospel soaked finale, she killed it. But then shes had 35 years to perfect her art and is still going strong to this day. She's a legend who is still delivering, MJ may have changed the shows format but it was Madonna who re invented the live tour as theatre, and she more than proved that on her own very special Superbowl mini tour! Bravo to a real queen!

Madonna in my opinion feels she has to stoop to raunchy antics to get attention. ( which she doesn't, she is a fabulous singer/ entertainer) I feel that's in poor taste, especially for a family affair. MJ IS the KING baby!!!

From making the audience heads turn as he disappeared from one end of the stadium to the other and building up a atmosphere JUST by standing still.....After being ejected 10 feet I to the air to land on his feet solid and hold it for the momentum to build. Get 80,000 people to be captivated by just that...is amazing.

I say Michael Jackson 1993 performance. Because it set the standard and a platform for major artists to showcase. Before MJ it was naff entertainment productions that now one cared for to much. Thanks to MJ it's now annual headline gig. Yes the productions have got better but c'mon this was over 2 decades ago. MJ was lined up to perform at the 2010 Super Bowl Halftime show, but sadly he died. The Black Eye Peas got the slot instead. Imagine what he would of brought to the stage, he would of killed it. RIP inovator the one & only King Of Pop!

He also broke audience& TV watching audience records of super bowl. The most important thing is that he send the message of love, peace and equality through the show, which no ohther performers did ever.
