Would you attend a wedding where the person was marrying themselves?

This shit sad son. I would definitely go and have them jokes and eat the food. Hope she wouldn't be expecting a gift tho.

I don't think anyone I know would invite me to their wedding if they were marrying themselves because they know I would get allllll types of jokes off. I get jokes off at weddings when my friends are marrying an actual person. One of my friends marrying themselves would be like the Super Bowl of joke time for me. Not to judge (but ima judge right quick), but maybe the reason she's had difficulty finding a man to this point in her life is because she is more concerned with the wedding and not the marriage/relationship.... if the friend lives in the same city, sure, why not. i love a party. if the friend lives out of state, i'd send a card that says "i hope it lasts - divorces are expensive"

Marrying yourself seems like the most expensive masturbation assistance ever known to mankind. When I first heard this story, my thoughts were the following:

    1. AdamandEve.com would probably be a cheaper alternative (especially with the "TBGWT" code).
    2. I'm living proof that there's someone for everyone if you're actually looking.
    3. She could have just called it a "Happy 40th Birthday Party" and keep it trucking. This just seems, well, sad.
