I think that it shouldn't be a popularity contest, or whoever is "so call", relevent these days. I think it IS an older act's turn at it. That's why i say Earth, Wind, and Fire, cause if you've ever seen them in concert, then you know that these " old guys" are great entertainers; they can tear up a stage. I mean, Shining Star, September, Reason, and my all time favorite Boogy Wonderland (that originally feat. The Emotions) but in the interest of keeping it a little bit fresher, they can invite En Vogue as cost stars for that part. I think that would be dope as hell. I know people don't still use the word 'dope", but I'm in my late 40s, what do yo expect?

Adam's breathing new life into the legendary music of QUEEN, Adam is very androgynous, very flamboyant , and very camp just like Freddie, he obviously fits into the Queen's chair quite well.....With his bombastic in your face approach and his theatrical renditions, your bound to be entertained while watching the way he expresses himself as an artist, his vocal gymnastics, added to the spectacular flexibility in his voice make for a great listen, with his eye shadowed sensuality and vivacious performances he IS the unparalleled, unmatched, top tier vocalist of this decade, his funny tendency to never hit a note out of its correct pitch and tune, his abundantly likeable personality, I guess he IS the champion definitely the best current front man for Queen in my humble opinion, what I find most intriguing is when he performs the more inconsolable and melancholy ballads like "save me" along with the operatic powerhouse song that is "Somebody To love" , you need to be Quite skilled, and of course Adam is that exactly, his nostalgic and soulful wails in "somebody to love", will make you feel radiant, I have high hopes he'll perform the SuperBowl Halftime with Queen in 2016, I'm confident that he'll make it the best one yet, (holy, that was the hardest thing I've ever written, so many big words) any ways, my point is, GO QUEEN ^-^

I think that they should make it a big performance with multiple artist. Mix in Queen, Bon Jovi, throw in a little bit of Journey or some other older awesome band. Also have Lindsey Sterling & some other young artist pop in there somewhere performing with them. It would be like a blast from the past with present day mixed, good for the older generation & young. They should go all out for the 50th with no stops to make it memorable. Something mind blowing in it's creativity & weirdness. I believe if they do that even more people will want to watch the Super Bowl, even people who don't watch it will want to. Heck, if all else fails try to get Pink to be the main entertainment, she is just amazing. Pink could make a stunning performance all by herself, & I'm pretty sure she can sing with mostly anyone. Maybe other artist singing with her like Lady GaGa, Gwen Stefani, Eminem....

I think that they should make it a big performance with multiple artist. Mix in Queen, Bon Jovi, throw in a little bit of Journey or some other older awesome band. Also have Lindsey Sterling & some other young artist pop in there somewhere performing with them. It would be like a blast from the past with present day mixed, good for the older generation & young. They should go all out for the 50th with no stops to make it memorable. Something mind blowing in it's creativity & weirdness. I believe if they do that even more people will want to watch the Super Bowl, even people who don't watch it will want to. Heck, if all else fails try to get Pink to be the main entertainment, she is just amazing. Pink could make a stunning performance all by herself, & I'm pretty sure she can sing with mostly anyone. Maybe other artist singing with her like Lady GaGa, Gwen Stefani, Eminem....
For the ones that say "Queen is dead". Sorry to contradict you, but Queen is very much alive and with an amazing (talented and gorgeous) frontman that is Adam Lambert. It would be epic if they perform for the next Superbowl.

TECH N9NE. All the other artist are OVERrated. Give other artists their chance. I'm tired of seeing the same dang artists perform on TV every year. I think its time for a change, for real. Tech N9ne might not be as big as the artists listed, but he is definitely just as good and even better then most of them. Just because Tech N9ne isn't in a major label, it doesn't mean he can't get the same attention as anyone else. TECH N9NE!
Whilst it is good to see Adam Lambert/ Queen leading here, James Arthur is equally the real deal! He is no plastic pop star, James Arthur is real, raw, mind blowing talent. He certainly knows how to rock that stage. My guess is he is accumilating most of the votes 3rd in line right now!
