If Washington State passes this bill, should B.C. follow suit?

In Vancouver, when the time changes, we have to endure dark, rainy days and it becomes very dangerous when people are affected by this time change and having to drive to work/school. It needs to stop!!!

Should be irrelevant if WA scraps it or not, BC should discontinue this ludicrous charade.
Only the government would believe if you cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it onto the bottom you would actually get a longer blanket

Day light saying time I have a husband with dementia and he has not change time and it makes it very hard as he wants his meals on day light saving time and night time he wants to go to bed 7;30 which to him is 8:30 very hard on the care giver. Thanks that is my input.

Why follow Washington State? Why not take the lead and stop with this absolutely needless and stupid practice regardless of what they do? There are so many hours in a day. You are expected to work "X" number of hours, sleep and rest so many hours, then liesure activities after that. Who cares if it is dark or light.

I agree with Westcoaster. We should stay on DST year-round. If you have pets or simply like to get out for a walk or rush home to do the gardening while it is daylight, the extra hour at the end of the day, particularly in the winter, is so very beneficial. What good is the extra hour in the morning? None that we see. Now we are retired, we leave our clocks on DST and live with that extra hour at the end of the day all year-round. Of course we take into consideration the real-time stores and businesses work on. Again. why wouldn't everyone want an extra hour of daylight where it is useful. I agree about not changing the clocks twice a year, simply just stay on DST, then there is no clock changing back and forth. Everybody, just really think abut this.

Would love to stay on daylight saving time all year long. No more changes after next month!

I have no interest in scrapping DST, but I would like to see us skip the time change by remaining on DST year-round. During the winter, most of us get up in the dark and come home in the dark. Year-round DST would at least allow us to come home in daylight for most of the winter.

Don't know why we are still only talking about scrapping daylight savings
