how about adding: Cut spending on the "give a way" programs to people who won't work and to women who keep having babies to get more gov'mt. money? and how about investigating fake disability claims and making cuts there. why cut funding to those who worked their whole life for these benefits?

I hope this was closed early in order to correct it. Let's do it again and add NO to the choices.

NO! NO! NO! As all have pointed out, there should be a "NO" in the choices.

I agree with Ron Farrell and Kathy Frost, hands off SS and MC. Put Congress on the same pay and benefits as our military, cut ALL the pork out of the budget especially that connected to illegals, stop sending money overseas to our enemies to be used against us, and get back to the Feds only funding what is Constitutional. Lastly, BALANCE THE BUDGET. I have to live within my means and wouldn't have a job if I demanded a pay raise every time I wanted to spend more money like the Feds do. They spend more and more and then demand to raise taxes. Enough already.

I agree with Ron Farrell. Instead of cutting Medicare, Social Security, and the Defense budget, let's cut some automatic pay raises for Congress, some ridiculous spending on illegal aliens, and absurd funding of foreign governments who are not our allies. Let's start there.

Kind of an unfair question. Should have been a NO, or at least allowed more than one choice. I don't think there should be cuts for social security OR medicare.
