"SUPER RIGHTS"? To not be discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation is a "super right"? Wow. To have the same access to housing, employment protections, and to be treated as a member of the buying public just like heterosexuals are treated to is a "super right"? To have exactly the same rights and protections a religion, creed, national origin, age, handicap, sex, etc. is a "super right"?

I don't think so. A "Super right" would be being a tax free entity who meddles in the political process like churches.

What the State House is trying to prevent is SUPER RIGHTS for one group. It is sickening to see how indoctrinated people are on this issue. There are more than enough laws already on the books that prevent discrimination that no local community should have to enact more. The ONLY reason to enact more is to STEAL rights from others not of that special group.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil...

Arkansas has historically been a Democratic state. It's only recently hit home that meant "Dixiecrat". I live in NW Arkansas, which isn't as bad as other parts of the state. (We just have to contend with the Duggars and the Waltons.) It's still pretty bad. Republicans, the party of small government. Unless you happen to be a woman or anything other than a white hetero evangelical Christian.

WAIT, WAIT!! This is such a bad question that I told you wrong. A "Yes" vote says you support allowing local discrimination. Ignore my previous post.

Be very careful with this one. The question is a double negative here. There is a "Bar" and then comes "Anti" discrimination. So, a NO vote says you want local governments to be able to discriminate. Who ever wrote this should be shot . . . Sonny.

Thank God for Alabama and Mississippi. Otherwise Arkansas would be the most backward state in the union. I don't remember Jesus discriminating against the poor, homeless or those that were different. Where is the love? Where is the care?

What is wrong with the AR General Assembly? I love how the Republicans are vehemently against government intervention UNLESS it is to further their own ridiculous agenda. Let's just do away with the Civil Rights Acts, too. Give me a break!

I can't imagine any American who is proud of our country would ever support discrimination!
