I listened through the bitter end. While I appreciate Chair Wittich letting everyone speak, shutting down debate and not allowing an amendment from Rep Eck was unethical. Taking executive action at 10:00 at night was so unnecessary. 70,000 Montanans deserve so much better.

There more people die in one hour in the republican states that are denying Medicare expansion then were killed in Benghazi. They have no alternative plan.

This attitude has nothing to do with a party, and it occurs at all levels of government. Having their minds made up before the public presents their views is very common. The decisions are made beforehand behind the scenes.

When that many people travel and show up to share with our elected officials how this bill will effect their lives, our elected officials owe it to them not to vote along party lines but to listen and engage in the conversation with questions and discussion.
