When I think of a yard goat..I think of a goat tied to a tree with a rope! It is going to be one ugly mascot! Not buying tshirts for my boys!

This is the worst name in history. When I hear this name I don't think of a baseball team, I think of a goat singing a terrible taylor swift song. How embarrassing really.
I love the name!!! It's fun, it will certainly get the "kids" involved - the marketing possibilities are endless! Can't believe how many people seem to be against this name. The first day I heard the names listed on the radio, I knew Yard Goats had it! I hope they have an amazing first season...and beat all their competition really baaaad! I'm embarrassed by so many things about CT - this isn't one!
I was so disappointed when I heard they chose Yard Goats. I did not really like any of the choices, but I think this is very embarrassing for the state of Connecticut.
